Publication Policy of SINTHOP Journal
1) Publishing Frequency
- Two issues per year:
- Vol. X No. 1 (January–June)
- Vol. X No. 2 (July–December)
- Special issues may be announced by the Editorial Board when necessary.
2) Publication Model (Continuous Publication within Issues)
SINTHOP applies a Continuous Publication Model combined with issue-based scheduling:
- Articles are published online immediately after acceptance, peer review, copyediting, and final approval.
- Each article published during the six-month window is assigned to the current issue (e.g., Vol. 4 No. 1: January–June).
- At period end, the issue is formally closed and archived. Pagination or Article Citation IDs may be applied as needed.
- Every article receives a DOI, official publication date, and complete metadata upon online release.
This model accelerates dissemination while maintaining a traditional volume/issue structure required for indexing, archiving, and citations.
3) Editorial & Publication Workflow
- Submission — Manuscripts are submitted via OJS following Author Guidelines and the journal template.
- Initial Screening — Scope/format checks and similarity screening. Non-compliant manuscripts may be returned or desk-rejected.
- Double-Blind Peer Review — At least two reviewers evaluate originality, methodology, significance, clarity, and relevance.
- Revision — Authors respond to reviewer comments; revised versions may undergo further review.
- Editorial Decision — Final decision by the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board based on reviewer recommendations.
- Copyediting & Proofreading — Language, references, and formatting are refined; authors approve final proofs.
- Online Publication (Continuous) — Article is published as soon as ready; DOI and metadata are registered immediately.
- Issue Closure — At the end of the six-month window, the issue is compiled, finalized, and archived as Vol. X No. Y.
4) Indexing & Metadata
- Each article is assigned a DOI and deposited with Crossref.
- Metadata (authors, title, abstract, keywords, references, DOI, dates, volume/issue) is pushed promptly to indexing services.
- Articles are indexed by major databases (e.g., Sinta, Google Scholar, DOAJ, Garuda, Dimensions) subject to each indexer’s policies.
- The Editorial Office ensures metadata consistency across platforms, including publication date, volume/issue, and pagination/ACIDs.
5) Open Access & Copyright
- Immediate Open Access to all content.
- Default license: Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY), unless otherwise stated on the article.
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.
6) Archiving & Digital Preservation
- Content is preserved via recognized preservation networks (e.g., PKP PN) and institutional repositories where applicable.
- Persistent access is ensured through DOI resolution.
7) Publication Ethics
