Digital Archiving and Preservation Policy

SINTHOP is committed to maintaining the long-term accessibility and integrity of its published scholarly record.

The journal maintains regular backups of its OJS database, article files, supplementary materials, website configuration, and publication metadata. Backup copies are maintained separately from the active journal installation and are periodically tested for restoration.

Published articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers and deposited with Crossref. DOI registration supports persistent identification and resolution but is not treated as a substitute for preservation of the underlying article files.

Earlier issues published on the former platform remain available through the previous platform archive . Issues published from Volume 4 onward are maintained in the current SINTHOP archive .

If SINTHOP becomes inactive, the publisher will seek to maintain public access through its retained backups, institutional repositories, the former platform where applicable, and any external preservation service in which the journal has confirmed participation.

Participation in LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, PKP Preservation Network, or another external preservation service will be stated on this page only after the journal's active participation has been verified.
