2. Publication and platform history
SINTHOP began publication in 2022. Its publication history is continuous across the former and current platforms; the platform migration did not create a new journal or restart the journal's volume sequence.

4. Continuity of the scholarly record
SINTHOP seeks to preserve the integrity and accessibility of its scholarly record across platform, domain, and administrative changes. The journal therefore seeks to:
- maintain the journal title, E-ISSN, publication chronology, and volume and issue sequence;
- preserve original publication dates, DOI identifiers, pagination or article identifiers, and article-level bibliographic information;
- maintain public access to both the former and current archives;
- avoid creating duplicate publication records when content is migrated;
- use stable links, redirects, and canonical landing pages where technically possible;
- document material changes to the publisher, platform, frequency, licence, or journal governance; and
- correct migration-related metadata errors without changing the scholarly meaning of the published record.
5. Migration and metadata maintenance
SINTHOP periodically verifies its journal identity, ISSN information, DOI resolution, article landing pages, archive links, licence information, and bibliographic metadata across the current and former publishing platforms.
Historical URLs are preserved whenever possible. Current-domain information is communicated to relevant registries and indexing services while the historical platform remains identified as the source archive for Volumes 1–3.
Metadata corrections are made on the basis of verifiable records. Missing information is not invented. A correction that affects the scholarly version of record is handled under the journal's Corrections, Retractions, Expressions of Concern, Complaints and Appeals Policy.
6. Responsibility and review
- Editor-in-Chief: oversees editorial identity, publication continuity, and integrity of the journal record.
- Publisher: oversees the current domain, platform continuity, backups, access, and communication with external registries.
- OJS and DOI administrator: verifies article files, landing pages, links, DOI deposits, and bibliographic metadata.
- Editorial office: records and responds to reports of inaccessible, missing, duplicated, or inconsistent journal records.
This page is reviewed after a material platform, domain, publisher, or publication-model change and whenever a significant continuity issue is identified.
