About the Journal
SINTHOP: Media Kajian Pendidikan, Agama, Sosial dan Budaya is a scholarly, open-access journal published by Lembaga Aneuk Muda Peduli Umat. The journal applies double-anonymous peer review and is committed to editorial independence, research integrity, publication ethics, and the dissemination of academically significant research.
SINTHOP was first published in 2022. Volumes 1–3, covering the 2022–2024 publication period, were published through the former Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry journal platform and remain available in the previous platform archive . Beginning with Volume 4, Issue 1 in 2025, publication continued on the current SINTHOP platform under Lembaga Aneuk Muda Peduli Umat in collaboration with LaKaspia.
The platform migration represents the continuation of the same journal, not the establishment of a new title. The journal retains its title, E-ISSN, publication history, volume sequence, and scholarly record. Further information is available in the Journal History and Platform Migration statement.
The journal publishes original research articles, systematic and scoping reviews, meta-analyses, bibliometric studies, theoretical and conceptual articles, and scholarly book reviews in the fields of education, religious studies, social sciences, cultural studies, and relevant interdisciplinary fields. Detailed subject coverage and editorial priorities are described in the Focus and Scope .
SINTHOP publishes two regular issues each year: Issue 1 (January–June) and Issue 2 (July–December). The journal applies continuous publication within each active issue. An accepted article may be published after completing peer review, editorial decision, copyediting, layout, author proofreading, final verification, and DOI preparation, without waiting for every article in the issue to be ready. See the Publication Policy for complete information.

Adoption of Continuous Publication Within Regular Issues
Dear Authors, Readers, Reviewers, and Partners,
SINTHOP: Media Kajian Pendidikan, Agama, Sosial dan Budaya applies a continuous-publication model within its two regular issues each year.
The journal maintains the following biannual publication schedule:
- Issue 1: January–June
- Issue 2: July–December
Under this model, an article does not have to wait until every article in the issue is ready. An accepted article may be published within the active issue after it has completed peer review, editorial decision, copyediting, layout, author proofreading, final editorial approval, metadata verification, and DOI preparation.
Continuous publication does not mean automatic acceptance, publication immediately after submission, publication before peer review, or publication of an unfinished manuscript. All submissions remain subject to the journal's editorial, peer-review, publication-ethics, and quality-control requirements.
When an article is published, it receives its official publication date, DOI, volume, issue, pagination or article identifier, licence information, and final bibliographic metadata. The published article constitutes the version of record.
Each issue remains active during its stated six-month period. At the end of that period, the editorial office verifies the table of contents, article files, DOI resolution, and issue-level metadata before formally closing the issue.
Further information: The complete procedures governing publication scheduling, version-of-record controls, issue closure, DOI assignment, and metadata verification are available in the SINTHOP Publication Policy .This model supports the timely dissemination of peer-reviewed research while preserving SINTHOP's regular issue structure and publication-quality requirements.
We thank our authors, reviewers, editors, readers, and partners for their continued support.
Sincerely,
Editorial Team
